2023 Goals
I'm excited and hopeful for the year ahead. I had time to sit in my cozy living room (pictured above) one morning last week and write down my goals for this year.
Here they are:
1. Don't buy alcohol at the grocery store unless we are hosting a party at our house.
2. Read 20+ books and finish reading the Old Testament
3. Complete over 100+ Peloton rides
4. Routinely attend church each week in-person
These are all very simple and self-explanatory. As much as I enjoy having beer in the fridge, it honestly gets consumed too quickly in our household. Whereas a six or twelve pack might last me months, Brian can wipe it out in a week. :) It's something I feel we can easily cut out of our weekly grocery expense, and drinking less alcohol is never a bad thing.
Hopefully I'll be able to do more reading this year than in 2022. I have a LOT of books back logged that I am on the wait list for at the library. I'm excited for all the books I have planned to read this year. I also started re-reading the Bible in October and hope to get through the Old Testament (it's a very slow reading pace).
I'm starting this year at 120 Peloton rides currently, so hopefully by this time next year I've completed at least 220 rides. Easily doable....I hope!
Lastly, I mentioned in my last post that I wanted to start back attending church in-person since I've been watching mostly online since August. Well, January 1st was this Sunday and I am not off to a great start, ha! Cam woke up saying he didn't feel well, so here's to hoping that next Sunday will be our start!
Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2023!
Kelly
