A-Z Book Survey

I'm still knee deep in a blogging slump. I can't seem to pull myself out of it. I think it's a combination of a few things.

For one thing - and this is quite weird - but I have had a bump in my mouth for the past 11 months. It affects me. I'll save that story for another day.

Secondly, I've been pretty slow at work. For those of you who know me, I would much prefer to be busy. I thrive on being busy. When I'm bored, I feel like my life just spirals down.

One of the things I would really like to do next year is re-start my book club. The book club fizzled in May and I haven't gotten my act together. I need to get the ball rolling again!

Anyways, Delicious Reads is by far my favorite book-themed blog. The main writer, Kelly, hosts the most amazing book club meetings you could ever imagine. My book club meetings averaged only 4-5 people and I typically planned the meeting only 4-5 hours in advance. I could definitely stand to take some pointers from Delicious Reads!

I didn't date in high school. But okay, I'd pick Holden from The Catcher in the Rye.
He was weird in an interesting way and he had a smart sense of humor.

So many to chose from, but I would say reading "Life of Pi" in my 12th grade AP English class. When it comes to my own writing, that book was a game-changer.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. I was so wrapped up in that story that I never wanted it to end!
