October Goals
Cooler weather, a trip to Charleston, and the North Carolina State Fair---Hello October!
For me, Fall, Winter, and Spring are necessary seasons. Reason being, I would otherwise take Summer for granted. I will, however, appreciate the pumpkin lattes, the caramel apples, and the low humidity that Fall will bring.
I successfully completed my only September goal, which was to order my picture prints from 2011. My Walmart photo order was $76.00. At $0.09 each, that's a lot of pictures!
I am challenging myself this month to tackle a lot of things on my "to-do" list. Here are my goals for this month:
1. Organize and update my recipe books
2. Complete Jan-April of 2011 scrapbook
3. Bake and decorate sugar cookies with Royal Icing
4. Read three books
5. Bake three pumpkin recipes
6. Have a Ghost Pepper party*
*Ghost Peppers are the hottest peppers in the world. I'm not quite sure what a Ghost Pepper party entails yet, but I know it will feature homemade ghost pepper vodka courtesy Brian. I personally will not be ingesting anything hotter than a bacon-wrapped jalapeno.
