The Patio Project
You may remember that one of my goals for the month of May was to plant flowers and decorate the patio. I am well on my way to completing that project- just in time for the beautiful Summer weather!
This weekend, Brian and I made a trip to Lowe's to pick out a few plants. I also purchased a custom-made hummingbird feeder at the Outdoor Bird Company in Durham. For the hummingbird feeder, you fill it with a homemade nectar made by mixing sugar in water.
(That picture is for my mom!) :-)
While my sugar water mixture has yet to attract a hummingbird, it has indeed attracted many ants!
I've ordered a few more items for the patio, and they should be arriving later this week. Until then, here is a sneak peek at what the patio looks like right now....

Just reading this today and smiled when I saw my hero, "Eggar" from the original MIB, as the photo feature. . . Then laughed out loud when I saw you noted that the inclusion of his picture was for me!! Thanks for thinking of me and making me laugh! Love you and miss you this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. . . And your patio decor looks great! Love the barrel planter!
