Afternoon at Lake Lynn

Five o'clock came early for me today.

Thanks to a power outage at work, I got to leave right after lunch and go home for the day! It was a lovely afternoon, and I headed over to Lake Lynn to enjoy a leisurely stroll. One of the many things I love about living in Raleigh is that Lake Lynn is just a stone's throw away from our house. I go almost every day for a 2 mile walk, which is one of the main reasons I wanted a dog. I need a workout partner!

Well, we are getting a dog, but I still may need a workout partner....

Going to Lake Lynn in the early afternoon proved to be a real treat! There weren't many people on the trail, and I got to take a lot of pictures with my iPhone.
